There's no purple tint in either, mines DIB

"midnight blue" some people see it as slightly purple, others a deep royal blue.

The only bad thing about LB is ford put the colour as bloody teal on the site, which is a greenish blue.

When in reality it's like the following:

Maybe it's the rear white tailights made it look purple? Either way there's one near me and looks like it has a purple tint...:shrug:

Best way to describe it, is it has dark dark blue, almost purple shadows to it - If you look on a spectrum wheel it goes pink purple blue IIRC.

Anyway, above has lighning going from a lightish metallic blue all the way to a dark blue; it's quite literally both. I think it'll be like 'Ruby Red' and 'Magnetic' in the sense that it changes colours depending on the lighting it's in.

Yep the tone does change quite significantly depending on the light. The Ford colour example is completely useless, may as well have shown it in pink.
