My dislike for DI stems from many reasons, being an engineer and all that!!

The carbon deposits in the back of the valves is one issue, which is major on Di only engines such as the Audi TT rs. No feul mist in the inlet charge results in heavy crap build uo on the valves.

DI requires a strange pocket in the piston crown and combustion chamber. This leads to detonation in anything other than stock engines.

DI means there is a direct path to atmosphere from the combustion chamber via some seals on the DI injectors. This can be a weak link when boosting your engine.

I don't want to be a PM, or Mr Farage for that matter. I just wanna be quiet little me, getting on with my life and feeling undisturbed by the worlds trials and tribulations!!

So, I have decided it's defenitly a 2017 for me, I don't want no DI in my V8!! I'm struggling to decide on colour, but am leaning very heavily toward Oxford White at the moment? White doesn't age, isn't affected by the sun and is very easy to repair when chipped or scratched. Have I gone mad or what??

I want to go and place my order tomorrow!!

Go for whatever colour you like, even if white is the slowest ;)!

isn't white a spectrum of colours therefore making it heavier... and the same goes for black paint, as this is a mixture of darker colours... making them heavier, the fastest colours are the prime colours - Aka triple Yellow and Race red, ruby red and DIB don't make the chart as they have magnetic flakes in.
