This is a Lund tune and it was stated that it would add timing if the knock sensors were ok with fuel etc...
Yes it will add timing depending on knock,but they still set a max timing limit.Talk to lund and ask him if he can make u a tune just for 100 oct fuel,because the timing limit is not going to be the same for 93 and 100 oct.16 seems about right for a 93 tune and if u send him a few few logs and they look with the 93 u are using he may add a little more.

^this... I have Lund as well and on 93 I'll see maybe 17* up top regardless of fuel quality. Just a safety measure and one I appreciate.

Hit them up for an additional 100+ or 93+torco tune and you'll be set.

I know someone with a Lund tune on 91, who was also running near 18*, and the a/f ratio was lean even though the knock was adding timing all the way up. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The Lund team got back to me w/ a 100 octane revision. It shows 18-18.50*.
Great seat of the pants feel. It seems some other things have been sorted w/ the tune since last year (my last revision). I'll hit the dyno tomorrow and post results.

Stock pulley on the Paxton. Usually 9-10psi. But timing seemed very high for 91. That's usually what 93 cars run. My car with the stock pulley and 91 was running 16 deg, and 15 at redline.

At 12psi I'm locked to 16* from Lund.

Lund told me if I drop to 3.6, I'd either need to run octane booster, e85, or limit rpm to 7200. Above that it can reach 12.5ish, and too much boost for 91.

so true. just to update... On another tank of 93 gas recently, i'm seeing -4 being added under light throttle and 0 when crusing and -kr wot varying from -1 to -3 ish. so fuel quality definitely changes.

And, I just added a can of octanium to current tank full and she's pretty much pegged at -4 all the time.
Yup....... :) :cheers::headbang::ford::thumbsup:

Curious if you have any info to share relating to 91 octane and/or datalog knock values.
