Hey guys - need to get a winter wheel setup for my car so I can drive in the cooler Fall / Spring months and then also not worry about the summer rubber in winter storage. Going to go with performance all seasons and only driving on nice days, just need rubber that won’t kill me sub-50 degrees :)

Looking for any pics folks have of Heritage Edition cars with non-black wheels. I’ve seen a few out there, but please show me what you got! Seems like black looks the best to match all the other black bits on the car, but thinking of going with a different color scheme to change it up for half the year…TBD.

Thank you all!

Since you're focused on the appearance, be ready to address this issue if it's not your cup of tea. Even with spacers, they'll still extend out a bit. There's a few different ways to cover them.

How's this:

These are factory 19x9.5 ET44 2014 GT500 front rims with all-season tires on them. The tires in the picture have been swapped out for Conti DWS 06 Plus tires in 275/40x19 to give me a bit of extra ground clearance. This car has OEM GT350R front hubs with the long studs, and with these rims mounted with a set of 35mm slip-on spacers, I can use the regular factory lug nuts.

Not an HEP, but see my profile pic. Brushed aluminum looks awesome on anything, as does the bronze.

That said, I'd rather park it for the winter and never have to deal with the salt you will inevitably pick up. Much less the wheels.

Thanks all - know there are many good options out there but haven’t seen anything on a Heritage Edition that looked better than stock to me, so that’s my main goal here. Worst case, I’ll get a set of non-R 350 wheels and move on.

Not driving in the winter - talking about fall and spring, and then cold weather storage during winter (I don’t let my summer rubber feel freezing temps even in storage). On Long Island we’re already having some 45 degree nights / mornings and I won’t use this summer rubber in those conditions.

I can say from experience if you switch to summer with proven lower temp capabilities like Falken FK 510 (easily 25F on wer) you don't need extra set, unless you are a 10/10th street driver pulling over 1 G regularly.

Having used UHP AS for a long time I stopped using them because the green and price point priorities of mfg have ruined them. There's a reason Euros don't use them at all. Better to switch to UHP winter at least you get a good ride.

These are Apex SM-10's used for track wheels. I don't think they look bad on this car.
