So, not entirely related to things, I killed my transmission this previous weekend. Wah wah, nobody cares.
However, and this is where we turn this around on you, get your TSB's taken care of, if you haven't already. The MT82-D4 is garbage, and Ford knows and knew about it, and for those with mid-2019 production runs, and later 2020 and newer ones, you're alright. For us manuals though, here's hoping you've got time left, because unless you get the cool kid extended warranty plan, chances are your time might be running out.
So, TSB's

18-2267 - 1st and 2nd sucking -- https://latemodel.cachefly.net/downloads/instructions/18-2267.pdf
18-2341 - 3rd and 4th sucking (our first fix sucked, this sucks less), supercedes 17-2175 -- https://latemodel.cachefly.net/downloads/instructions/18-2351.pdf
According to my friends at Ford who've seen me on like... a weekly basis, you can't just drop the transmission off, and if you've got a stripped out race car like mine, they'll laugh you off the property when you try talking about warranty work.
If you're out of that period, those TSB do list the parts that you'll need, in addition to a service manual, some friends, sockets/wrenches/breaker bars/hydraulic presses... and about $400ish bucks for each, give or take. The parts tend to be special order, so you're looking at 2 weeks for most of them. Ordering another transmission will cost you just under $3k with core, shipping, and taxes, and is an even longer wait, so see if you can get them to do it.
