Help with COBB CAI

Hey guys,

I installed my COBB CAI a couple months back and today I wanted to go ahead and clean the air filter. This is where my problem comes in. I can not get the damn filter out for the life of me. It's to the point where I think i need to take the front bumper off just to slide it out. Does anyone else have a COBB CAI and have cleaned their filter? If so what did you do to get the thing out of the box?

I was able to remove the filter after disconnecting the intake pipe from the turbo. It should be easier than that but I haven't found another way.
