Hello,

Currently have a 2019 Mustang GT on eibach pro kit (1 inch drop). Upgrading to 20 inch rims.

Front: 285/35/20
Rear: 315/35/20

Will this rub?

Thanks!

That 315/35 is a touch tall, I'm assuming with the 285 front, the wheels are going to be 20x10 ET35 (front) and 20x11 ET50 (rear), which is what I'm running on my '19. I had the same wheels/tires on my '16 and it had a BMR SP080 spring setup, and I would very occasionally bottom out on a something bridge, and get some minor contact.

The 315 is also a touch big, why not just to a better matched front-to-rear sidewall height, wheel width fitment, etc., and go with a 305/35[?] Lots of tire options too!

This is a terrific site to check fitments, get a good pre-viz, etc.:

If you're pretty low, you could also opt for a 30 series in the same width I run, i.e., 285/30 and 305/30.

I’m currently 285/35/19 - 305/35/19

I’m adding a stage 2 whipple so I want the extra meat in the rear and already decided on a street radial. Yes the rims are 20x10/20x11.

What does bottoming out mean exactly? Thanks!

All depends on your offset for the wheels.
I’ve seen guys running similar with no issues, so the tires will fit if the wheels have the right offsets so they aren’t sticking out (or in) too far

I plan on getting the KW V1 coil over set up.... Honestly I don’t feel like worrying about bottoming out, so at least with the coil overs i can adjust the front and rear to where it’ll be perfect;whereas the springs wouldn’t help me at all in this case and i’m prone to rubbing.

I love you so much for posting right now. My Offset will be 30 in the front and 50 in the rear. I shouldn’t have issues right ?

If your front is 30 with 285 you will rub. As for the rear you should be good with . 50. I’m on Ford Performance springs drops it 1 inch... not sure if the eibach pro kit drops it slightly more

Et for the front will be around 34 or 35 if I’m not mistaken. With 34 front 285 I don’t rub

I’m an idiot. The front is 35mm offset. I won’t rub then with 35mm in the front with a 285 tire, right?
