Help swaping sync into non premium car

My brother is returning his leased 2015 ecoboost premium and I am planning on taking his Sync screen and swapping it into the gt. do I need to purchase any additional parts or can I just swap the entire unit and bezel into my car?

yea he does lmao. hes fine with it. we have done this before with our other cars, the way our leases are set up ford cant charge us anything despite the components of the vehicle not being what it was originally. i just want to make sure its a direct swap before i pull everything out

when did I say dealers are stupid? FYI my father specializes in bankrupting businesses, our cars are leased under companies that no longer exist, as a result ford cannot come after me or my brother for any damages. I don't even see how this is relevant, I just want to know if its a direct swap

Oh I think you've done a fine job of showing what kind of character you have on your own :lol:

If you'd like a "relevant" answer however, yes you can physically swap everything over as long as you get the right wiring harnesses switched as well, however you will need to reprogram your As-Built data to enable the driving modes as well as possibly the different climate options. If the premium cluster has Dual mode, I believe the base has different hardware in the dash where it won't work, though I'm not 100% on that.
