I recently picked up 1" spacers for all four wheels from AM. I had read on the forums that people were running them without any problems on both aftermarket and factory springs.

However, about two weeks ago I went to get my steeda ultralites installed along with the spacers, and to my surprise the guy who tried installing the spacers said that there was a tiny lip on the hub that created a couple mm gap between the spacer and hub. The technician recommended I swap the 1" spacer for a 1.25" spacer, however, I am unsure if this will fix the problem.

My question is, has anyone else experienced this? Also, for the guys running 1" spacers all around, did you have to do anything unusual to get the spacers to sit flush?

I appreciate all the help in advance:cheers:

1" American Muscle Hubcentric spacers on all four corners, no issues. I have 5mm and 8mm hubcentric spacers in the mail on their way to me now but that's only because I don't like that the 1" spacers make my 295's stick out so much. If there was an issue sounds like he didn't know what he was doing or something had a defect.

I had the AM spacers and they fit flush, take a rubber mallot and ensure they're on flush.

Never heard of this before.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'll have to get the the car up and see if I can replicate what the technician said. Been too busy with everything lately.

Good to hear that you guys aren't having any problems with them though
