Are you talking about the lines and curves of the car?
Yes, the lines across the doors wash out/blend in during certain light; take a look at a picture posted by Alloye...

That picture clearly shows what you meant, thanks!

I thought that happened with darker colours only. Needless to say that Race Red looks stunning.

It's really a tough choice. I have to check more pictures, unfortunately that's all I can do since I'll never be able to see the car before the purchase.

Sounds like somebody might need to schedule a vacation! I know it is not the least expensive option but if you are going to own and be driving this mustang for a while maybe a quick trip to America to see some sights and stop at a few ford dealerships to see all the colors in person is not a bad idea. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of your color choices but if I had to pick one of them it would be Competition Orange.

That was in direct sunlight without an ND filter on my camera lense. The lines don't disappear like that in person. On the other hand, I agree there are many photos where they do.

Race Red can be particularly hard to capture because our eyes are far more sensitive to subtle shades of red than most camera sensors are. And in this case, the conditions were so bright that my camera totally clipped the red channel. It probably didn't help that I was in a hurry and didn't take some time to set things up better.

Competition Orange is another tough one to get. I've only seen a handful of photos that look anywhere close to what I perceive in real life. Most shots make it look kinda washed out and more red/less orange than it really is.

Seriously, Reds and Yellows (not different enough)? Yeah, guess your right. Unlike Black, White and "50" shades of Grey, LMAO.
Red IS a very common color to me ,simply not a fan of yellow. Also i never said those other colors were different:headbonk: Not sure how you struggled comprehending that....anyhow to the OP . mustang, Dubai ,gotta get comp orange:D

Edit: looking at above pick red does look very good, still not different but dang it looks good.

I wish! But I just joined a new company and I'm not entitled for a holiday yet.

I was just going through the pictures over here in the Competition Orange thread, and everyone seems to be saying that it's red with a hint of orange. I knew from that it was reddish orange, which I thought is better than yellowish orange, but if it's too much red then might as well just get Race Red.

THANK YOU! That's exactly what I was thinking, that it looks more red than orange which makes me think if I want CO I should just go for RR since both would look red either way.

Yup, it does look good!

And I can see why you'd think Competition Orange would fit in a place like Dubai :D

I think if I recall, only the EB 2.3 I4 and the GT 5.0 V8 will be available for Non-North American Export regardless of lefthand or righthand drive?

We are offered 5 trims with 3 engine choices. Base V6, EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT and GT Premium.

Even though most people voted for Competition Orange, I need to see some pictures that capture the true essence of the colour, cause from what I've seen it seems like it looks red most of the day with a hint of orange. I don't know how nice this is. I don't wanna buy the car and get bored of it's colour really soon.

My choices are getting close to Race Red and Triple Yellow ATM.

I usually don't like red or orange cars. I have seen Competition Orange in person and it is one of the few oranges I actually like. Not too orange. I personally wouldn't get it, but if you want to be "noticed" a lot, then get it! This car does show its lines better with the bright colors.

Well since you're from Dubai, you dont need to worry. You can just buy another new car next year when you get "bored" of this one ;-) Oh but I think gas prices are in free fall, not sure how that affects your wealth hehe

I think you can't go wrong with red, dub or co. Didn't care for triple yellow in person, and certainly not with the black pp wheels.

Stereotypes. Maybe I should have mentioned that I'm an expatriate living in Dubai working my ass off in order to afford a car like this :)
Also FYI, it costs around $52,000 for the GT Premium, so it's not cheap.

That's why I need to make the right decision with the colour because I simply will not be able to change the car if I got "bored" :D

Really? It looked nice in pictures.

I can't get the black wheels anyway, PP is not offered in my country. I'll be getting the 50th anniversary appearance package though.

I`ve seen the 2015 Mustang Convertible in person with (most) of the paint colors. I ordered mine in Race Red, so obviously, I`m partial. That said, Ruby Red Clear Coat Metallic is very "handsome" indeed, just not a paint color meant for a Mustang, IMO. Better suited for a Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Escape,C-Max, Explorer, you get it? My second choice would be Triple Yellow Clear Coat. On a Convertible with its Black Top, it is (very) sharp and it will be a very limited production run, perhaps 1 or 2 years. White, Black, and 50 shades of Grey, yawn......meh.
