Help identifying this Non OEM reverse lockout.

Hey all,

Working through the kinks of a, new to me, 2016 GT/CS.

Shifter will not reverse lockout. Looking into it, it doesn't have the OEM white collar with the three clips. It has this black plastic one pictured below... Any idea what manufacturer, part number or part of which assembly?

I thoroughly cleaned the assembly and it all moves freely and doesn't hang up. Just sits a hair too high to catch the lockout pawl. (small white spacer is installed though not pictured)

Of note, I've tried pushing down hard on the lever, as I've read that could be a fix to this symptom. No movement.

Judging by the pics from boombas, that doesn't look as short as theirs, but not OEM either.

That is the reverse lockout from a Steeda shifter, but your shifter assembly seems to be the stock one.

I imagine the previous owner had that entire assembly apart a few times trying to find their favorite shifter. Probably tried the Ford or Hurst shorter shifter handle and didn't prefer it, so they bought the Steeda TriAx.

When they were deciding to sell, they took the TriAx out and returned to the other options to try to privately sell the TriAx. But then they mixed up the parts.
