Almost...I think! I paid $71K out the door for my '17 F350 Platinum. All the "bells and whistles" plus the 6.7L motor.
Yeah think they Raptors are hitting an average of 75K-77K. Beautiful Truck! Jealous!

Thanks for all the input gents. Further research revealed a Gen 2 at that 50k price point would result in something with pretty considerable mileage. Not that the truck wouldnā€™t last, but having most of the warranty ate up by mileage leaves me Leary. Plus itā€™s at lot of time for someone to else to fart in my seat.

Came across a 19 Ruby Red SCREW Raptor at 4K under sticker and it really has me tempted with the new suspension. More than I wanted to spend initially, but itā€™s going to be the last truck I buy.

Also have a buddy with a 17 AG SCREW with about 20k on it and he wants 55k. With a 13k price difference I am caught in the middle.

Those AG SCREWs are gorgeous. I absolutely love the color on them.

I have both and can say the Raptor is my favorite daily car of all time. However, the GT350 is what I drive just for fun.

I got it bad after my BIL let me drive his 2019... but then I realized I always have to have a car to play with and that I have a functioning truck.

My wife wasn't wild about be buying two, but I'll push for it next year some time. Lol

Hmmm that 17 with 20k miles sounds nice. You still get the 10spd and a great setup. The 19 just took a really good setup and made it better with the upgraded shocks. But ask yourself...."self, will I go places that the 17 shocks could not handle ?" "Self are the 19 shocks worth 13K+ ?" These are the question one must answer....

What is getting me all riled up is having experienced the magneride in the GT350. Itā€™s such an intuitive system. Makes it hard for me to walk away from similar tech

I see. I also see your out in CA...you could actually go to a area where you could use those shocks as well. Quite the conundrum my friend.

Hey T

I have a 2019 Ruby Red Screw and love it! I test drove quiet a few 18s and while very nice the 19 with the shocks going around normal corners feels way more planted and the truck hardly sways or nose dive under hard braking with the electronic shocks. You only live once its not a practice round! Get what makes you the happiest if not you will always wonder if you should have gotten the 19 even if you get a better deal on a 18 or 17. Regardless there all great trucks and will last a long time. And yes the Eco-boost sounds different but it runs really good!

Get that 2019 bro. And don't worry about what others are saying about the v6. Got 35k on mine with 20k of those towing.

The v6 motor is better in every way except for sound. The R is for making noise, the raptor for crushing dreams.

Do it.

My 2012 FX4 was an Eco, tuned and was a good engine. She had 134k on her when I sold it. I never thought the HO eco in the Raptor was a bad engine. I seen those do some good work.

I like mine. Donā€™t find it exciting at all, but Iā€™m not in an area with easy access to off road so it tows snowmobiles and kids and is cool as hell.

Well the Raptor only comes in the crew or supercrew config I believe, so yeah, it has back seats. Get the screw and you can put a whole lot of kids in the back....
