2917 GT PP with Sync 3.
I am frequently having trouble getting Sync to recognise my iPhone when connected to USB, as such Apple Car play fails to activate. I have tried unplugging and re-plugging the iPhone multiple times and it doesn't work. When I select "Connect Mobile Apps" I get the warning message "Connect iPhone to Sync 3 USB Port to enable mobile apps". I have this issue approximately 70% of the time when using my car, the other 30% Apple Car Play fires up without issue.
Is it user error on my behalf or do I need to see the dealer? I figured it would be as simple as plugging into the USB port? Apple Car Play is enabled on my phone and I always have bluetooth on (even though it's not required for Apple Car Play).
Anyone out there having this issue?
