Hello from Houston

Hi, my name is Sean. Just picked up my 2016 GT PP last Friday. This is the first mustang I've owned. I previously had a G8 GT that I traded in on the mustang. Gotta say I love this car and look forward to learning more about it in these forums.

Thanks, and yeah the first time I pulled into a parking spot and got out I noticed the front was over the curb and luckily the car was high enough it didn't scrape, I've been making sure not to pull to close ever since. Even though it's a relatively small car the hood sticks out so far that it's taken me some time to get used to.

Congrats on your sweet looking new ride. I'm also a first time Mustang owner in Houston, coming from a Pontiac GTO that I drove for 9 years. I also live in Houston. When do you plan on swapping the summer tires for winter tires? Two reasons I didn't buy the performance package: 1) Didn't want to spend an extra $2,000 on another set of wheels and tires for the December through March winter in Houston, and 2) didn't like the 3.73 rear axle - too many quick shifts from first gear to second gear, then back to first gear in my ever worsening rush hour commutes.

It's houston? no need to change the tires.

I've never switched to winter tires on any of my cars. I've always ran summer tires year round.

Came from the dealer with it on. Not sure what they used.
