Non-NAV upgrade in 2016 GT Premium. Google Maps is a great feature to have, and I am very grateful to all the guys who participated in "bringing this to market". Wink, wink. One issue I am finding is that it sometimes won't let me say a new destination. It's stuck on wanting to direct me...
Non-NAV upgrade to SYNC 2.2 went off without a hitch.
Now that we have Android Auto, what are the best apps for this platform, other than Google Maps (which is admittedly YUGE for me)?
Voice texting is pretty useful. Anything else?
Okay Ford, it is almost the end of the year.
Where is our Android Auto upgrade to SYNC 3?
Don't hold up Android phone users because of Apple products' inability to "play well with others"!
LOUD EXHAUST SYSTEM = LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!
Now mind you, we all have insecurities making us need to be noticed. Maybe love was withheld from us as a child; who knows.
Did Ford ever acknowledge the coefficient of drag (cd) for the the S550 generation Mustang? Saw cool videos of the company demonstrating air flow engineering, yada yada yada, but no published cd number.
The more I read about how 2017 models are out now with SYNC 3 and functional Android Auto, the more it makes me wonder what's up? This upgrade requires no hardware updates to our 2016 SYNC 3 system. What is holding Ford up?
I have a western digital Passport with 30,000-plus songs. I had to first format the drive to FAT32. The initial connection required maybe 20 minutes for the SYNC3 software to index the drive and build commands. After that, it has started right up every time. Amazon cost was about $55. Just...
2016 Mustang GT, 19 inch wheels with stock Pirelli P Zero tires that came with the car. Tires are not showing much wear after 10,000 miles with one tire rotation performed at 7,000 miles.
I just got a fairly small diameter nail (looks like a nail used to build wooden crates) in a tire, in the...
I admire you, OP.
We just got back from San Francisco. It was scary enough driving on your steeply pitched city streets in a rental automatic transmission Hyundai Sonata. I can't imagine you daily driving a GT350R with 3.73 rear and manual transmission on those double black diamond roads.
Cara,
Since you are behind the corporate wall, why don't you speak out for us Wildlings. Don't make us so angry that we turn into White Walkers. (Just kidding.)
Ford:
Time to let us 2016 Mustang owners know when to expect this software upgrade. We have waited patiently long enough. Please give us an expected date more specific than, "later this year".
Many of us will be taking summer vacation road trips and it would sure be useful to have google...
I am also interested in why and where you dread taking the manual GT. I dread taking my wife's automatic Fusion, or my daughter's automatic Focus, because of the chance they might bore me to sleep (admittedly an exaggeration). I never dread taking my manual GT.
I agree with Spacebird. OP said the dealership told him that he must have hit something. OP didn't dispute or refute. Spacebird simply commented that he thinks OP did, indeed, hit something. Spacebird, I guess us Texans have to stick together.
