Now you are drinking the kool-aid and assuming you know what others want. I'm very happy with what I have and have no real interest in adding more power. I live in the sticks & it's hard to find times/roads where I can even begin to open up the car. I doubt I'm even using 2/3's of it's potential. Just because this or that brand offers more power doesn't make it a better choice unless your goal is to exact the max power possible from your car (presumably without blowing it up in the process).

This is especially true for someone more interested in a DD vs. a car they plan to drag or track. We all have different goals and it's great to have a variety of options to choose from, but it's arrogant & presumptuous to come here and say those of us happy @ 670hp are secretly wishing we had a balls out 800+ hp set-up.

I agree with you 100% I'm only talking about spreading wrong information.

I've always said get what you like and enjoy it every day.

I can quote a thread on here. A member had issues with his phase 1 install. Car just wasn't running right. His local Ford/Roush Performance dealership couldn't figure it out either working over the phone with Roush.

Roush actually paid to ship this gentlemans car from FL to MI to dyno tune it at their headquarters at no cost to the customer! Then shipped it back to his door step in tip top shape! That's not some third party warrantee.. That's a class act company that stands behind their proven product!
That was 3 months later, 3 rent a cars and initially stating it wasn't there issue, must be exhaust noise. It's easy to do the right thing when the public knows about it via social media, it's not as easy before that happens.

As for class act or 3rd party, that was a calibration issue which they supplied so of course they had to fix it.

Your continuous product bashing shows immaturity and envy.. I really don't want to entertain your comments anymore. They are all very bias and bias remarks are not worth the post they are written on. Like i said before, I came here to celebrate s550 owners successes, regardless of brands used.. Not listen to the Whipple guys negative sell Roush all day.

Interesting thing is, I don't see Roush company owners or even representatives in here being so unprofessional. Just you... SMH.. So shameful.. And tells me so much about character and the ethics behind your organization.

I have street tires (invos) and the blow with this much power. I have a procharger and it won't hook on these tires. The only way I can get it to hook is from a 60 roll starting in 4th. I need a drag radial asap.

Get out of here with your helpful, on topic thread info dude!!! :)

On another note...
Seriously this fight between you guys does not look good for either.

Race each other, post time slips, warranty receipts, something. This is the 'technical' forum, which I've noticed should likely be changed to the 'I bought this' forum...

Pops has a 2014 Roush with a ton of upgrades. I have a 2015 Whipple with the Whipple tune. Both cars destroy tires at any rpm. Drag Radials are a must if you wish to utilize the power on the road.

This is true and to all the Whipple hatters you realize all Whipple is doing is posting facts and the reason your all upset is that the facts have data to support his claims.. You read them and get upset for whatever reasons and then try to turn it around on Whipple saying he's bashing ... I have yet to see 1 bash...only factual statement ... Stop the hate lol

You guys have no clue what you are talking about. Go to your ford dealer and ask what the relationship is with Whipple. The answer will be nothing. I know for fact that they work better for Roush. I have done my research and like i said, the place to be is with Roush. No im not saying that because I have one. I looked at whipple, Roush and Hellion Turbo. I did all my research including talking to the dealers. All of which recommended Roush. I have had no issues with service at all and the dealer installed it so whatever people are saying on here please prove me wrong. show me a rejected Roush warranty claim. You cant , sorry.
Ok, I've been PC long enough. You have 12 post, you and the Roush S550 screen name sound incredibly identical with the same BS.

You have ZERO correct information. You have your opinion which is clearly your power, but trying to persuade others based off misguided information which does everyone a disservice on this forum.

Whipple has and still supplies Ford Performance supercharger for 11-14 S197 Mustang 5.0L Coyotes. Whipple has and still supplies Ford Performance superchargers for 07-12 GT500. Whipple has and continued to supply Ford Performance for the Cobra Jet's, including the awesome new 2016 (not Roush....). Therefore, our relationship, from supplying Ford Racing for 10+ years and the fact that we've actually been supplying superchargers far longer than Roush means we have over 100 Ford dealers the offer our product. Many dealers won't install Roush products. Many will offer the cars but not the other aftermarket products. It's up to the dealer, it's up to the parts department, sales manager and many others. Some go by results, some go by marketing material, some go by margin. It's all subjective.

Our calibration partner has supplied FRPP and mainstream cals for 10+ years. The Roush 627 cal came from our cal partner, via Ford Performance. Roush modified this cal (very little) to make the 670hp. That cal was done before S550's were shipping, with more time and a different goal in mind, our cal partner helped create a far greater calibration including a new supercharger model, adjustable features, adaptive power control, bigger injector capacity, new knock logic, octane adjust, crank/cam relearn capacity, wheel/axle changing, etc. Stating in anyway that Roush is ahead on calibration is laughable. You literally have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm actually very surprised to find out that you are the owner of Whipple.. Based on the way you carry yourself on here I would not think you were a successful professional. You slander, lie, and negative sell other brands in public forums? I would be ashamed to be affiliated with your product after seeing the way you conduct yourself..

I joined this website to share insights with other like minded s550 owner. Learn about different products and mods and celebrate in each others successes regardless of what brand products we each use. But you sir, you have made my experience different. And I've taken one thing away from this site so far. Don't buy or rexommend to anyone to buy Whipple. The owner of the company is an immature, unprofessional, rude individual who is surly going to tank the companies reputation!
Negative? No, confident? Yes. We have dominated Roush in every category and continue to do so. We have brought more to the S550 supercharger arena then Roush could ever offer and are continuing to develop. You can't even change your wheel/axle ratio without coming to us. Separate from this, we give accurate info, not miss guided post from guys with 2 or 12 post. The Roush Kool-Aid drinkers all think they have a factory warranty but I've been in this business long enough, they don't. That's the argument.

What kit is better depends on many variables, we feel we cover them all but that's up to the consumers to decide. Many have in fact done so. You see zero guys wanting to remove there's or have there car in the shop for 3 months. You also see we stay active and answer all questions, days, weekends, nights. No corporate hours here.

And as for bashing. If you go back to Kyle's from Roush mid last year stating that our billet fuel rails could leak because the billet is porous. Or that we have a 10-rib kit because the SC takes so much power. They even started a post "Don't get whipped". There is zero love loss between Whipple and Roush.

I wish you all the best of luck with your builds. As long as your happy than that's the point. Enjoy your cars. See you all at the Track and we can have some fun.

100% true.

I try not to get involved in threads like this because it's no secret I am team Whipple and guys like the newbies here come along and start the "fan boy" bull shit. I have always been pro forced injection no matter what brand because it's a wonderful experience to have a blown wallet...... I mean car. That said I have been supportive of Whipple when I see someone with either clear damaging intentions or just are not educated in the matter. It's something we all do, get behind who/what we believe in. Doesn't matter the vender or product we do it and I for one keep it based on facts.

Whipple has said nothing non factual, the few guys here don't and won't see it that way. They will always turn it around.

They are obviously non educated in the matter. They have no idea how deep Whipple's involvement in Ford, Ford Racing, Roush, Ford tuning really is. It's laughable actually

I'll say it again, if you like the Roush setup and that works for you, great. If you want turbo, great. Twin turbo, great.

^^^^ Roush warranty

Look at page 2, item f

Being an insurance investigator, I would find you and your track videos if I worked at Roush. Then laugh while I was denying your claim. You might not understand the level of enjoyment that I would get from denying claims. I loved it and denied 60% of the 100s that I reviewed weekly.

I'm not speaking of my particular car when I reference the warranty Ford/Roush Performace dealerships honor with phase 1 owners. I'm just generally speaking for all the other owners that don't use and abuse the vehicle like i do. Obviously I'm not concerned with wear and tear personally. Plus phase 2 goes in this week.. Lol... But daily drivers and occasional track drivers on phase 1... They will be fine. Till 36,000 miles, all the way around. The Ford / Roush Performance dealerships (over 400 nation wide) will fix it all.. No questions asked. You guys keep acting like claims have been denied.. I don't see anyone saying they've been denied warranty work on Roush phase 1 tuning yet. And I don't think you will, because the dealerships that sell/install them take care of the car 3/36k b-to-b. I don't care what the fine print says.. That's there in the case of major neglect to cover thier asses. That's not written with intention to void after a few trips to the drag strip. Lol... Roush cars are made to be tracked. And Roush is a company that stands behind thier product! Without question!

I'm just saying what it states right in their warranty contract. I personally wouldn't buy any kit base on a warranty or even purchase the warranty. Hell, I installed my Whipple with kooks o/r headers with only 300 miles. I wish that I could have had my car price reduced for declining the factory warranty at the time of purchase. I do know that there are mod friendly dealers. I had one once take care of my STI when we blew the engine on their dyno running meth lol.

I have not had an issue yet with warranty. I had mine installed at the dealer and everything seemed fine. I took my car to Roush to check out the factory and they guys there checked out my car and install. they noticed that the dealer didnt install it 100% and showed me what had to be done. I went back to my dealer and together with Roush made the proper fix and worked well together to make sure i was a happy customer. I can only speak from my experience and it was a pleasant one. They treated me very well and i was very happy with the outcome. I drive my car daily and have phase 2 in it and think it is an amazing product. They have gained my trust thats for sure. I blew my stock half shaft and when i brought it in there wasnt any questions at all and even after they suggested i upgrade my shafts when I got the supercharger they still fixed my car no problem at all. I yet have seen any denied claims anywhere. Either way i hope you all enjoy your cars and to answer this threads question, Yes I daily mine and love it. Thanks.
