Heat smells weird

It was that time of year to use heat again. Does anyone else have this "issue"? I can't even explain what it smells like, but ever since it was new, when I use the heat in my car, it just smells weird. Never been in another car that had this. Best equivalent I can think of is like a hot plastic smell, but not melting plastic. It's not a coolant leak from the heater core or anything, or evaporator issues (A/C or vent does not produce the smell). It's literally just heat only. Cabin air filter has been changed regularly, so it's not that either, lol.

I didn't post this in the "issues" forum since it technically isn't one, but I was just curious if anyone else has this or noticed something similar.
