No heat extractors? Where would they put the turn signals???

:D
It's funny you say that because I sold my 2015 and take delivery of a 2016 next week. I like the heat extractors and I want to remove the new ones with the directionals and replace with Roush or 2015's.

The OP mentiond excessive heat might be an issue and I was thinking that the 2016 shuts off about 50% of the usable heat removal. :)

Seriously there's a whole black market of hood swaps waiting to be untapped for us Australians.

We also don't get the hood vents/extractors, and there's a few of us now who would trade a bonnet if we can find a way to trade them cheaply

haha

OK i guess i meant to say 'reasonable' instead of 'cheap'. But yeah, shipping cost and time (car waiting in garage) will likely be prohibitive.

Ok wait! Package my GT hood and FedEX to Australia. Even if it was resonable which I garranty it wouldn't be, it would never arrive undamaged. Sorry Mate! :)

strap some life jackets under the hood and float your way to the states to swap, repeat the process to get back :D

This will be easy to get over there, but i'm afraid I won't make the journey back with the aforementioned hood holes :headbonk:

Definitely need to start a Swap Shop.

I'd love a US GT hood/bonnet for mine when it eventually turns up and I want your red rear lights as well :D

Here in the Netherlands, there are traders that once in a while, have a container with US car parts shipped in for old-timers or simply parts that are not available in Europe. Usually they also can give you a deal to let your stuff hitch a ride on one of their shipments.

Usually you can get in contact with people like that trough (classic) USA car clubs. Sometimes it's even the clubs who organize a shipment.

I saw these Roush vents at a Mustang show on several cars. They don't stick up like factory and IMHO look good.
