Headlights always on in drive or reverse

Hey all,
I just bought a 19 GT. I have come across a strange issue. When I put the car in drive or reverse the headlights(not running lights) automatically come on and stay on regardless if it's the brightest day or darkest night. The light control is set to off. Wondering if anyone has come across this and of there is any way to fix? Could this be a job where forscan could work? Any help would be great. Thanks.

My’22 was the same way. Parking lights would also be on. Found out it originally was shipped to Canada and they required it. I disabled both of these with Forscan.

Is it just the headlights that come on? Do the tail lights come on too?

Yea, did some more research and mine came from Canada as well. Was it easy to disable with Forscan?
