Headlight upgrade for base Ecoboost?

I love everything about my car. Stock 2018 EB Base model. Well, almost everything. The audio sucks, which I can fix, but the headlights are another problem. They are probably the worst headlights ever, especially for LED's. I have been searching on here for headlight upgrades an all I can find is replacing the bulb with a better HID. Is that an option on GT's and up? All I seem to have is built in LED's.

Probably misaligned is all. I had to increase height of mine a lot for iner City urban driving so can see the junkies and stupid pedestrians and bikers in black clothing at night.

Use low most of the time on highway unless it's remote then do heights just to get any refections off wildlife eyes sooner than later.

I did PPF my lights day after I got it.....the lenses take a beating.

I'll try that. I figured they were at the right height since I get high beamed a lot, but I did notice they are a little low compared to my other vehicles.

I don't know if the below will help you out, but this is the info for headlight adjustments and alignment of beams applicable for 2015-2018+.

In the below images (Image 2), you can see the adjustment screw protruding from the top of the headlamp and where it intersects the small “box” on the assembly; this would be the “ball and socket” reference.

My guess is you have them aimed way too low and they are not doing what they are supposed to do. IMO the OEM headlights are pretty darn good when aimed correctly. Most of the fancy aftermarket bulbs are not going to be an upgrade.

If you want to see bad headlights...go get a 15-17 instead. I love the ones on my 22 in comparison to what I had before!

Like the others mentioned, work on the aim before you look into alternative options - usually they aren't as bright.

@Cobra Jet that is exactly what I needed. Looks like someone messed up on the headlights. One the drivers side is a VOL and the passenger side was a VOR. I moved the drivers side up a little and we will see what happens tonight. It looks like on Carfax the car had some front damage and the drivers side assembly was replaced with the VOL instead of the VOR.

I want to keep the factory lights. Everyone is switching to the S650 style, but that is the one thing I hate about the new model. The tail looks beautiful, but the headlights are ugly to me.
