Thanks in advanced for the help everyone.

A few weeks back I hit a huge bump on the highway. And while driving at night I realized that my left headlight is facing completely down and my right one seems to be pointing somewhere else to the point where the beam can’t be seen, even though I can see it’s on when outside the car.

Went to readjust them today and the screws are doing absolutely nothing to adjust the aim of the beam on the headlights. There doesn’t seem to be a horizontal adjustment and the verticals don’t do anything.

Any suggestions?

Hey Brian.

Can you be more specific? What light fittings are you talking about exactly?

Thanks!

Same thing happened to me, I found out that it was the adjustment screw came undone within the housing. I had to remove the the ballast in order to get more room within the headlight. Hope this helps.

Due you mean by removing the ballast you were able to reconnect/screw the adjustment bolt (assumption that is what it is) back together? Did your solution require you to remove the assembly and by extension, the bumper?

Appreciate any further clarification, outside the warranty. Considering purchasing an extended warranty if I can sneak this in under the radar but would rather just fix it if there is a tried and true method.

Yes I had to remove the bumper, its located in a weird angle if you tried doing it overhead. The adjustment screw connects to a rectangular plastic piece. The form a ball and socket. I wish I would of taken pictures and posted them.

This thread may help for future reference regarding headlight adjustments:

In the below images (Image 2), you can see the adjustment screw protruding from the top of the headlamp and where it intersects the small “box” on the assembly; this would be the “ball and socket” reference.
