One thing about my 2015 Mustang GT that has bothered me from day one is low beam headlamp visibility at night.
Visibility of the road ahead with low beam is not good. I tried adjustment and raised my headlamps and it makes it better. But then I started getting people flashing their brights at me, so I put them down a little.
On level roads they are okay but when going up or down an incline there is a line of demarcation where the light just stops...making it very difficult to see ahead. This is the first vehicle I've had with these type lights so maybe that is the nature of the beast. I'm more used to the light gradually diffusing ahead and not cutting off sharply.
So I have a question if anyone knows. This line of demarcation where the light just stops...is that due to the specific OEM bulb included with our Mustangs or can replacement bulbs take care of this issue?
It seems a few D3S bulbs recommended are Osram Xenarc 66340 CBI HID Bulbs, or maybe Philips X-tremeVision 42403XVC1 5000K Bulbs.
Before considering any replacements I wanted to ask if anyone knows if better bulbs will resolve the 'light demarcation' issue.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
