If you plan to go e85 or make any other(CAI, manifold, forced induction) mods wait until you do those before you get a tune so you won't have to pay more for a return. Your car will run fine with stock tune and headers. Im tuned by Rob Shoemaker, hope this helps.

How long did it take for you? Miles, time, Etc. drive style.
Honestly, I don't really even keep track. Every time I have flashed a new/revised tune, it only seems to take a week or two for everything to go ready.

I mostly just drive around like anyone would. Sometimes we will take it up in the mountains, sometimes just cruise around town, sometimes on the highway up to my sisters house (about an hour away)

I just went into the garage right now and scanned it. All are ready. I think the last time I flashed a revised file was a month ago, but like I said, only takes a week or two generally.

Headers do not require a tune.

No known tuner will risk committing a federal crime by turning off the rear o2 sensors.
The only thing that might need to change is the transport time for the O2s. sometimes they dont heat up fast enough with headers for the time set in the strategy so the delay needs to be set a little longer.

I think I got a new set of Ford OEM exhaust gaskets, but don't remember needing anything else other than what came in the kit. I think they came with O2 harness extenders, at least my kit did.

One thing, the headers were super tight around the AC bracket. Really tight. I ended up using a piece of silicon turbo tubing, bent it 90 degrees and drilled a little hole in it so that I could put it between that AC component and use a nut to hold it on. I did it to reduce any chance of the metal-on-metal vibration causing false knock. Seems to have worked, my tuner said he didn't see any false knock in my logs.
