I was actually gonna go with OBX as well. I have them on my 2010 Camaro SS. Please let me know how they look when they arrive and how the fitment, quality, and finish is. I don't expect them to be ARH...but for the price, if they work and last and fit as well as they did on my SS, then I will buy these if I keep this car!!
Will do. I'll put a thread up with install pics and my assessment vs the pypes I had on my 2013. The OBX headers for the 2015-2016 look like stainless works/stainless power headers.

He's talking about the difference in price of the headers between different vendors being nearly $1000, not the price of the headers themselves.
ah misinterpreted then.

I was mesmerized at the quality of the Kooks on display at Mustang Week. I was like Homer Simpson drooling over a rack of ribs looking at these things. It's a shame to have such fine art work hidden under the motor!

Did anyone actually read the first post... the question is, why is there such a price difference... AS MUCH AS A THOUSAND DOLLARS... between resellers on a full ARH system.

Which lead me to the idea that perhaps some resellers are selling rebadged headers as ARH.

I dont want to skimp (stainless works) and I dont want kooks... I want ARH.

Here is the message I received...

1 3/4 Headers H Pipe & Cats MTC5-15314300LSHWC $1875

1 3/4 Headers H Pipe & Cat Delete MTC5-51134300LSNHC $1775

1 7/8 Headers H Pipe & Cats MTC5-15178300LSHWC $1875

1 7/8 Headers H Pipe & Cat Deletes MTC5-15178300LSHNC $1775

That pricing looks insanely low

Edit... I see some of you actually got the question.

I have seen a full system via PM for a full 1-7/8 ARH for under $2k from a forum seller... most of the other resellers getting back to me on my query were abiut the same at around $2800+.

Thats a big difference, which make me wonder if the low price seller is selling another brand of header badged as ARH. The thing is, this is a major reseller on this forum.

IF any of the dealers in this thread want to PM me the best SHIPPED (vegas 89178) on a FULL 1-7/8" ARH system, I will consider it as I will be buyng in a week or two.

Do the full systems come with the mufflers? Just some quick searches looks like they stop at the h or x pipe?

quick search online yields some sellers near those prices that are full systems with arh exhausts.

Yea I see them now. Would appear to good to be true. Seeing full h system around 3 grand. 1875 is what I would expect if it was used maybe.

That's not including the catback which is why it's so low. The full system from header to tip is close to $3000 normally.

as was just mentioned, those are headers systems, no catbacks.

not sure about the "skimping" with stainless works.

ARH, SW, and Kooks are all 3 usa made 304 stainless systems with lifetime warranties and great quality, arh and sw use more of a "full length" header design, and kooks is more of a mid length, some like this some don't.

SW does have their outsourced overseas brand that is less $$, with a 2 year warranty, so i guess you could consider that "skimping" from a $ / warranty standpoint.

but the SW is top quality as is the ARH and is the kooks. all 3 we run and recommend

I would never pay that much for a set of headers. Couple shops I talked to wanted $1500 for headers and then $700-$800 to install. :eyebulge:
Then I guess headers aren't in your future because that's how much they go for these days.

we have 304 stainless options starting at 699

install will be the same, but initial cost wouldn't be as much
