My brother-in-law recently purchased an 18 GT 350 base. He noticed that it had an exhaust leak when he bought it. Yesterday we were installing some jacking rails and crawled under to see if anything was obvious. This is what he saw. I do know the engine was replaced at 5000mi. Ya’ll seen this?

That should be covered under either emissions or Powertrain Warranty. I'm thinking more along the line of emissions, which is 8yr/80k if I remember correctly.

That isn’t very common. I can’t remember the last time I saw a bad weld on a header.

I noticed that the flange joint is different than #3’s, you can see that in the second picture. Is that due to pipe OD difference between the 2 cylinders?

I would check the tuned mass dampers on the exhaust to see if they are still there. If they are missing, the vibrations could result in cracked exhaust manifolds. Just a thought.
