Mike, I got my vin with my confirmation order email including production date April 5.
same day I sat with GM placing the order.

My order was entered priority code 19, Ford changed it to a 1 and scheduled the April 5 build week.

Spoke with my Ford salesman today. The dealership gets 1 allocation and they anticipate an additional markup of $20-$25,000 CDN.
I wished him good luck with that, considering the 2 GT 500s they did that with are sitting in the showroom collecting dust.

I suppose some of these mega-millionaire dealers can afford to sit on inventory. Too bad, I would gladly pay MSRP for either a MACH1 or GT500

I think Canadians can only order and title new "made for Canada" vehicles.
I believe there is some sort of NAFTA/USACANMEX trade thing where a Canadian can't buy and title a new US vehicle without a US address. My buddy tried with a Dodge Demon. He had to get his cousin from Florida to "buy" it, store it for 6 months, then export it to Canada. Was a lot of work but he got his Demon eventually. I don't want/need a MACH1 that badly...

I also believe the car has to have a set number of miles on it. Close friend used to do that for buds at American Airlines. They'd tell him what kind of Corvette they wanted. He'd buy it and have to sit on it for 6 mos. Then, re sell it to the buyer as used.

I just saw the Iconic Silver in person when taking my SHO to the dealer for service! Just a little darker and deeper than the SHO's Silver Ingot. Love it!

I love the change they did to this color making it darker. I'm not a silver guy, but I am on this one. Especially with black accents.

After 6 years with my black 2015 GT and a silver SHO, I decided the black takes just too much work to keep looking clean. Everything that gets on it shows!

Yeah ............... The PIU Explorers I drove were Black Agate. Now that the B&P is up, I simply prefer the blk/red stripe. Oh well, it is already carved in stone. Now that I have a serial #, nothing can be changed. "The Spirit of Skunk Hollow, TX" lives on !
