Why did you trade in the GT500?

Go to the GT500 Forums & Threads and read on, (1) Sloppy work coming off the assembly line (2) Parts missing, misaligned, WRONG. (3) Paint problems, (4) Recalls, stop WIP to fix problems. I paid $ 96,000.00 for that Shelby and I feel that for what I paid I was ripped off. I bought it to drive, not repair. I could go on but I have moved on that is why I went for the Mach 1. Owned 2 Shelby's before this one and I drove them.

With the info floating around about the 6.8L V8, I think I'll be holding off on the Mach 1.

Went to my local dealer today and they indicated they will have no issues with allocation and ordering but they didn't have much details yet. Took my contact info and will call when they know more.

They have a black GT350 coming but I'm not interested. I'm looking for a nice street car that I can have for a good long time and enjoy as I down shift into a less stressful job for a few years and then retirement.

I think the base Mach 1 has a lot going for it on the street - the coyote, the 6 speed tremec manual, the proven coolers and intake off the GT350. Should be a reliable performer with all the required goodies (and then some).

All I need is the color pallet to open up a bit and to remove the stripe restrictions. I'd like one of the darker metallic colors (grey or blue) with a white stripe or the silver with a white stripe with black calipers. All currently not offered.

If I had to settle with the current color pallet, it would be silver with the red stripe and red calipers I guess... Either that or wait for next year.

Just saw on another Mach 1 thread that the Handling Package orders will open on January 4, already called my Sales Manager and told him to get my paperwork off the back shelf, getting ready to roll.

sheeeet. I won't know on my pay raise until mid-late January, and that is the determining factory on if I get a 21 new, or wait till 22 and buy a 21 still on the lot or used for cheaper.

I’ve decided I’m most likely going to wait until 2022. I just bought a Ram 3500 Dually, and that cost me a good bit of coin. Considering that I’m not completely sold on the color options, I was already thinking about waiting, and with this new purchase, it’ll also be nice to save some extra cash for the Mach 1

Well, it has been 16 years since I had my last mustang. I am definitely due for either a Mach 1 or a Shelby GT350 in 2021. Just waiting to see if the Mach 1 will have a Ford Performance/Roush supercharger available. If it does, I will order the Mach 1 with the handling package & appearance package, and have Ford install the blower. Does anyone know if you can upgrade the Mach 1 brakes to the Shelby GT350 level?

I wanted to order one. The cost was a little high for my liking. I just found a really nice PP2 car and bought that. I didn’t like how in the past with ADM game on the GT-350’s and that also helped make my desion.

Certainly can. You can either get the adapter brackets, or buy the whole LCA/spindle setup
