Congratulations, that's a quick turn around time for sure. If you already have a Scheduled to week, I wouldn't be concerned about 700A cars being delayed. Once they give you a scheduled to week, that's their estimate that they will have that commodity to build your car at that time. Of course that can change.Ordered last week, Dealers order was processed by Ford on 2/2 and I just received an email with the Vin # and a scheduled build date for the week of March 15. Quick turn around for me if the date holds. Dealer spoke to his rep and was told 700a cars are going to take longer to go into production?
Thanks for providing this info, Zach. I'm happy with my dealer but I'm disappointed at the lack of information coming from them. Any intel on any delays due to difficulties getting microprocessors?Congratulations, that's a quick turn around time for sure. The 600A packages should receive their "scheduled-to-week" more quickly because they have more of that commodity available for scheduling.
So to my knowledge that's not effecting the Mustang line. Ford overall is in decent shape relatively speaking with Bronco Sport and Escape being the lines most significantly impacted. We're a FCA dealer as well and they're in worse shape. Those microchips are in their blindspot mechanism for all Ram trucks. Obviously that's a huge volume item for them causing headaches on higher trims. It also shut down compass and renegade production temporarily. Thanks for providing this info, Zach. And in defense of your dealer, it's not the easiest to get this information at times. You have to hunt and ask questions. Sometimes the information we get isn't always right either. Covid supply issues can change things quickly. Thanks for providing this info, Zach. I'm happy with my dealer but I'm disappointed at the lack of information coming from them. Thanks for the info. I recognize there's a lot they're trying to work through, like we all are. I noticed the US Ford websites are also lagging behind the international sites as far as updating the "build your car" to include 2021 Mustangs (and probably other models.)And in defense of your dealer, it's not the easiest to get this information at times. unfortunetly doesn’t show the handling pack and is loaded with inconsistencies with the order guide. Did they have an intern working this thing, Jeeze. The Ford Build & Price page is finally on line. Took long enough.
Must have, you would figure for as long as it took it would be right, but as with Ford it's a starting point. Shit is only February11, not tooooooooo late.unfortunetly doesn’t show the handling pack and is loaded with inconsistencies with the order guide. Did they have an intern working this thing, Jeeze.
But like I said at least it is finally up and running. There are inconsistencies on the ordering side between the order guide and WBDO when we place orders as well.
It'll be a few months before everything is sorted out.
