Last time I was locked out of a car(not a Mustang) 11:00PM near coast, it was a nightmare. AAA cannot find a local locksmith and firefighter also don't have the tool.
From then on, I decided to have a backup way to enter the car. I can, 1
1. Hide a barebone entry key in a magnet box under the car.
2. Install and hide a keyless entry keypad somewhere(like under the hood but still reachable. )
The first one is obviously feasible bot more dangerous. As to the second one, I found this keyless entry keypad on Amazon.

Has anyone tried it with a 2018+ Mustang Ecoboost? Does it work?
Thanks.

Update:
I just realized it's impossible to get locked out of a 2019 Mustang with keyless entry. You are unable to lock the car if the key is still inside. Also, if you leave the key inside the trunk and close the lid, it'll immediately pop up and honk twice to notify you. So problem solved.
