Car was perfect 3 weeks ago. Hit a deer, so it was on jack stands for 3 weeks, tilted with the front up. Finally got it fixed when I set it down, noticed it was really hard to get out of gear WITH ENGINE OFF even with the clutch in. Had to pull it with some force, nothing crazy though. Drove the car, which seemed perfect in every gear except shifting into first from a dead stop, which it did fine before. It does lurch when going into first. I'm thinking maybe there was some air in the system, and it found its way to the throwout bearing from sitting at that angle for a while. I do know the weather was around 60-70Fish before the deer, and now it averages 35-40F if that has anything to do with it. Shifts fine in all gears when the engine is off. Just wondering if it does sound like an air issue or if I need to look deeper.
