Anyone noticed any mileage improvements after a tune? I'm still kind of a n00b on the topic, but I've heard that ECU tunes are one of the few potential win-wins in terms of performance modifications. At least when they lean up the AFR.

For all you folks running an intake and tune, with regards to overall quickness/power (NOT throttle response), how much faster does the car feel?
I haven't tuned my 15' and won't be but I did tune my 12' and 14 GT's (by AED and a couple other very reputable coyote tuners). The tunes alone felt stronger/quicker than stock for sure but no where near what I was expecting.
Definitely do you research and learn how to data log and interpret the output. There is a lot of bad gas out there that can sabotage your gains. I could never consistently find any good gas stations in my area.
Once you flash it there's no turning back:doh:

If you really want your car to feel faster, go FI :hail:

I've always ben biased torwards bama. How does lund Compare?
more records with the coyote platform than any tuner out there

1/4 mile , standing mile, etc...

also great drivability and lots of real world testing.

lund has 3 in house 15+ mustangs, plus vendors like us that have cars as well, that are constantly helping to evolve the tunes.

no better group of tuners out there period!!!

My gas mileage decreased slightly over the course of the past month. Could be that I'm a little harder on the car now because it is quicker, and I'm always doing hard pulls onto the interstate. With every car that I have started throwing parts and tunes at however, the experience has always been a slight decrease in gas mileage.

I am curious to see if its just my driving habits or if others experience the same thing.

Anyone using a Steeda tune? If so how do you like it?

I wasn't happy with the first several revisions of my Bama tune, but I am satisfied now. Pulls hard, no longer has a torque management bog on hard shifts, feels good. All just butt dynos, but no need for anything else right now.

On a basically stock (bolt-on) car, all the tuners are going to be fine and there won't be a "best" tuner. I'm perfectly happy with my Bama tunes, and i'm about to go e85 and do some revisions. Every company will have it's reviews on both sides of the spectrum.

Beefcake, what kind of numbers have you seen for an airaid/lund combo?

I have an airaid cai right now, and am waiting for you guys to get the lund ngage in. Would it be worth it to sell my airaid and get an intake that requires a tune such as the JLT? Or will I only be gaining a few hp? I'm trying to find numbers, but it's pretty difficult with all the different combos out there *(tunes, transmissions, dyno types, etc).

I'll second Vile's observations on MPG decreases.

Since adding the JLT CAI, Borla S Types and a Lund tune, my MPG has gotten worse. I just can't for the life of me figure out why though.

I'm very interested in this combo. Will there be any 6G member discounts coming in the near future? Perhaps a Father's Day discount? ;)

Our lund tune, x4 and jlt combo. Great way top start off on your new car
