I have had these on my 2013 FRS 10 Series and I was so surprised at how grippy they were. So it was time to put new tires on the GTPP again and I got these. Took them down to AMP where my friend works in GA and we mounted them and went out on Wolf Pen Gap, Blood Mountain, and Highway 60 and wow.

These are his home roads and normally I would think he would pull away from me but it was nothing keeping up with my friend this time and I felt like I could've given these tires twice as much speed. They're a 320tw tire but it seems like that number is irrelevant for these tires. They perform like a warm 200. I got them for $850 shipped from Tire Rack in a 275. I will see how they do for the next 10K miles but I am beyond happy with them and they're far better than the 220tw Pirelli P Zeroes that come on the car. Before this, I had Yokohama Advan V105s that are 240 treadwear and I'm thinking they're even better than those. I don't know how well they would stack up on a track. Not sure they would stand up to the heat but for spirited street driving, they far exceeded my expectations, just as they did on the FRS.

I use to run the Hanook Ventus V12 EVO2’s on my Mitsubishi EVO 9 & the X I had. They are great tires. I’ve never seen anyone use them on the Mustang platform so I will be interested into seeing how they workout for you.

I’ve got those in a 325/30/19 that are going on my wheels hopefully this Friday.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these tires. I have never used Hankooks before, but I will be ordering a staggered set for my C5 Z06 as they are very reasonably priced to replace some worn out Michelins.

No problem. I like mine so far. Hopefully I’ll get halfway decent miles out of them.

How do you like them after a few months? I’m thinking about getting a set of 285/35/19 and 325/30/19

thanks

I had these on my BMW 335i and on my 67 Mustang. I think that they are great tires and can often be had for a great deal.

I have these on a set of second wheels for my 19 350R.... They arent bad for a daily tire and I've had them in the mountains and actually do grip pretty well.

All i have to compare them to is the Cup 2 on the carbons and thats not a fair comparison. They are much less responsive on turn in (no surprise there) and definatly have some tread squirm. I can out brake them all day long and feel tread/ sidewall squirm under hard braking that wasnt even a thing with the CUP 2s even with them cold (ie just regular street driving). Again night a day different tire so not a fair comparison.

I have a set of Pilot Sport 4S now on my carbons but wont be able to try them until spring. I'm interested to see how different the Michelins are compared to the Hankooks. Getting close to time to replace the hankooks so want to see if the price is worth it for the PS4.

I have about 32-33k on these now. Just about to the point where I need to start thinking about getting new ones.

Thats pretty solid for no rotation.

I'm about half worn but since mine is just a summer car and I want to have them for getting caught in the rain, I'll probably not run them as long. Rubber breakdown and hydroplane resistance and all
