They have lots of rubber on the outside. They don't have lots of gaps in the rubber.

Test drive report: Car was "super" skittish, all over the place, followed cracks/groves/lines etc. required a lot of attention to keep straight. Unbelievable traffic that day so it wasn't a great test.
My question to you folks: does the steering on these cars self center or is the rack "linear"?
I hope I explained that correctly. IMO one needs to learn this car, seems fun and engaging.

which car did you drive?

lots of variables - alignment, tire width and offset, tire tread depth...

Used 2020 PP Level 2, had 1700 mi on it.
Right yeah, so wide tires (305s on the PP2) with very little tread depth (nearly bald ones) tend to be on the darty/skittish side and will often follow road grooves. Alignment matters a lot too, and a used PP2 with an unknown history has an unknown alignment. There's nothing wrong with the S550 chassis, they can be very civilized or very darty, depending on your tire choice, the condition of those tires, and how you have your alignment set up.

Steering feel is highly subject to the tires contact with the road -normal street tires with normal tread depth (i.e. NOT Sport Cup 2s) won't usually feel that way unless the alignment front toe is out of spec.
