Markup on the 2022 you’re picking up tomorrow or the 2023 non-HP? If they slapped it on the one you’re buying tomorrow that’s shitty on their part if you already agreed on priceWell - I didn't get a good feeling on this so I bought a new 22 on the ground w/handling pack Grabber Blue going to pay for it tomorrow - I do know where there is a 23 in that purple color on the ground in NC but does not have the handling package if anyone is interested PM me
NEVER MIND THEY SLAPPED A 5K MARK UP ON IT - MF'ers
Got it. Have fun picking up the new Mach tomorrow! Grabber Blue is an awesome color. No, No the 2023 in purple “NOT” the one I’m buying
There are 23 HP M1s coming . My GB HP A10 loaded has a build week of 2/27/23 . i have some good info talking to Guys at Ford Glass house Marketing and Planning Dept.Last I saw in the order tracking thread, it appears end of March is it for S550. I’ve seen a few different places that Job 1 for S650 is April 11 or somewhere thereabouts. Thought I saw a few folks that had HP orders but not sure if they ever got confirmations or build dates.

The Deal w the 23 HP Machs is pretty simple . 1st 23 was gonna be short year so to get the HP option you had to order with a delership alottment before all the HP materials were spoken for ,
certian amount of parts on hand thing. 9/22/22 23 order banks opened . Ford tracked the in coming orders to the parts on hand and when parts ran out they removed the HP option. They had no intention of seeking more HP materials from suppliers in new orders because they will retool flat rock over to run 24s down the line end of march early april 24s are coming . The new gen. 24s are their total focus now . If you did not order a HP mach1 early , you will have to pray a dealership had a HP unit ordered and snatch it up . Not likely on that , probably have to drop back and find a used 21 or 22 HP unit. Very limited # build on the HP M1s for 23. From what i was told by rep at ford on the phone call that the 23 HP Machs were mostly all early bird customer ordered units . im not sure what day ford stopped offering the HP option but it was way before the 23 order bank closed on 12/5/22 . The window on that was 9/22/22 to 12/5/22 all 23 mustangs for customer orders. I put my HP order in on 9/22/22 and the $$$ deposit and left with all the paperwork in hand . Had to be aware and get your order in early is what it all boils down to on the 23 Mach 1 Handling Package cars. That is the exact reason you wont see the HP option available on the 23 build and price Mach 1 mustangs at Ford.com The build and price did not update on Ford.com to 23 model year until Jan. 23 well after the customer order banks for 23 had closed , and by then all the HP cars , materials for HP ect. were spoken for and used up. Thus , not even available if you didnt know and waited too long.
Congrats, lets see some pics!Wow - thanks for the info I am SO, SO, glad I bought my new 2022 today and paid$3K under MSRP
You are right on with this info. I initially went to put in a HP order in late October, but the HP option was not available already in the order bank at that time. I'm not sure if the HP option was ever opened back up, before the December 5th order cut off or not. Through some contacts inside Ford, I managed to get my HP order in with a guaranteed secure production slot....it's good to have friends and contacts. The last email I had from Ford said my Mach 1 HP was scheduled for production the week of March 6th. Checking the VIN tracker this morning now shows a scheduled production week of February 27th....though I've not had an email from Ford on this updated schedule. The 2023 model year is going to be a very short run of HP cars. With the Mach 1 going away, I guess you can understand their reluctance to have a lot of HP components left over when production stops. There are 23 HP M1s coming .
