Half shafts

I broke the DSS 800's when I was making 700rwhp. I think it was more of a fluke because it broke in the middle, so there was probably a part of the metal that didn't cure correctly during manufacturing.

I now have the 1400's; I didn't weigh them but I don't think they're any heavier than the 800's. If I'm correct I think the 1400's are just cryo treated and go through a heavier curing process.

Replaced by DSS though right?

Are the GT350 half shafts that much of an upgrade over stock GTs? Any chance of holding up to 6-700 rwhp?

Wondering if anyone knows what the strength rating is on the Ford Racing shafts? Kind of odd that I can't find any HP rating on them in their literature?
Only ask because I Saw they are around pretty good deal at White Bear Ford.

I have a set they rated at 1400 hp, they are massive and heavy!
