It's a long shot, but does anyone have a hack for greasing the front diff bushing supports that doesn't require dropping the subframe, exhaust, basically everything to get the bushings out?

Mine have developed a squeak, and I'm not excited about dropping the subframe, exhaust, removing brake lines, etc...to get them greased again. The rear bushings will take all of 20 minutes, but the fronts are never fun.

Are you referring to the bush inserts like what Steeder supplies. If so I've fitted the red one's and if you want to grease them, you should be able to loosen them and have enough room to get some grease in there without dropping the sub frame at all. Just undo diff bolts.

Thanks. The problem is getting the grease behind the insert. No issues on getting it to the front of the bushing. And also, to get grease around the outside.

But I did do what you said today, so we will see if it makes a difference.

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion!

Mine is a bit squeaky but I didn't put much grease on it when I fitted it because of dirt sticking to it and working it's way in.

Mine sound like an old wooden ship under launch. Quiet just accelerating from the lights though. The inserts are tight though, no room for play. Yes they are the steedas.

The answer might be just to jump to aluminum, but was hoping to not do this, at least not yet.

Would be nice if the car came with grease zerks for all bushings. I'll be taking my vertical links for the 2nd time this year to grease. For those I'll probably add a grease point.

Yeah I wonder if the aluminium one's would be better or if they would just be a different noise or vibration maybe.
Has anyone out there fitted them.
