what is required? Going to remove if if installed for the tow home, and for when I have my long highway trips. My understanding is that it cost 1-2 mpg at highway speeds.

I did not have mine installed when I picked up the car last October, but funny you should post this, I was planning on putting it on today just for a different look. Looks like it just requires a T20 Torx driver. I really never take it on roads with speed limits more than 45 mph, have heard one or two comments about peoples spoilers coming loose because of the downforce, hopefully that won’t be an issue.

It's very simple to add and remove. There's two sets of T20 screws and the longer ones are for the flap. Mine has stayed on since I last put it on. I get 15.8 mpg with a lot of city driving and very little highway. I may test it out without it one day to see if there's any difference on the street. Mine is not loose and is still as tight as it was the day I installed it.

I installed the spoiler with gurney flap on my non hp car and drive about 20 miles highway round trip to work. Hasn't come loose at all, including pushing the car to high speeds on several occasions.

I've left mine installed. T20 torx driver and a drop of blue loctite. Honestly I'd be more worried about constant install and removal wearing out the threaded inserts.

Those of you who have installed and removed: Was it hard to remove because of the blue locktite?

Would someone be willing to share a photo of what a gurney flap is? I can't see to figure out what it is.

I'm totally just curious.

Thanks!

That raised lip on back of the HP spoiler.
