I just saw a Guard mustang at the mustang bucket list. I was blown away! Seeing it in motion, in the distance, up close, there is no doubt its a green color. But such a different, stealthy, low key green...sooooo cool! Even on the very overcast day we had it looked awesome.

The top picture is the closest I've seen of an inside pic that actually shows what the color looks like outside.
Those two pictures have convinced me it's worth $600 to powdercoat the PP wheels into something more contrasting. Fantastic shots:coolphotos:

I'm not too fond of the chrome tail light trim but this Guard is wearing it surprisingly well!

My sentiments exactly! Love the color! Love the grayish hue and the blueish hue as well. It has a different look at day and night. Love it. Taking my baby in for window tint on Friday !! I'll post pics.

Bleh, I'd say the PP wheels are much better than these, especially if you fancy the black, but just my 2c. With the cost, even if they're cheap, you're pretty close to getting the rest of the PP benefits...

Nothing fun yet
Saw my first S550 IRL today, a Guard Ecoboost sitting in the parking lot of my office complex. All I can say is: Stunned. Aaaaaand sold.

The color is everything I hoped it'd be and more, got to see it under the Texas midday sun and then under heavy cloud cover a couple minutes later. No muddiness at all, way greener than blueish, metallic flakes are not overdone. It's complex but subtle, understated but dominant, and it looks as if it were made specifically for this car. I'm also very aware of how untrue the colors on my laptop are now.

Guard PP GT with Saddle interior just reached the top of my buy list. Any word yet if Guard has been confirmed to carryover to the '16 MY?

Also, seeing this car in person reinforced my belief that the spoiler delete is an absolute must. Breaks the body lines and looks way out of place IMO.

I was originally drawn to Triple Yellow. After all, it looks :eyebulge: SMOKIN' HOT :eyebulge: and will undoubtedly grab a lot of attention.

Then I remembered that I really wanted a metallic color this time, so off I went to examine Ingot, Magnetic, Ruby, and Guard on other Fords.

Each color certainly looked great in its own way, but the two that drew me in the most were Ruby and Guard. My decision finally came after seeing the two side-by-side on a pair of 2015 Fusions. The more I stared, the more I was pulled into Guard. It's a truly unique and complex color that I think will look great on S550 metal. I also thought it looked quite crisp and had just a hint of cool blue despite some reports of it looking muddy and brown.

Last but not least, Guard definitely has enough green in it that seeing it next to Ruby immediately made me think of Christmas. :)

So far nobody has been disappointed with it on the stang! It's nice :). Cleans up easily too.

If anyone sees a Guard GT (non-PP) manual trans with no spoiler, I'd love to see pics and know where it is. That's what I'm looking for.

There is one far from you in Hartford Wisconsin at Ewalds Ford. Vin #1FA6P8CF9F5305342

It has ceramic interior though which may or may not suit your personal taste.
