GUARD S550 MUSTANG Thread

Those of you that have already ordered your 2015 do the dealers have the color palate in the dealership? I want this guard color but these photos make me second guess my choice.

I am going to order in the next 10 days......If i didn't travel so much I would order it Monday,.....LOL

The next time you're near a Ford dealer, check their Fusion inventory to see if they have any 2015s. If they do, look for one in guard as it was an added color for 2015 models.

Over the weekend I went to the dealership to see, in person, some of the colors the s550 will come in. Specifically, I wanted to compare Magnetic and Guard and luckily there were some Fusions near each other in those 2 colors.

In person, I was surprised that both colors were darker than I thought they would be. I was also surprised at just how similar they were. I will see a lot of people confusing these two colors in person. Overall I think Guard was a nicer color, but I am still torn between the two. Neither of them is a bad choice. There was also a Ruby Red Fusion there and the color looked great. If I could get Ruby with Saddle, I probably would.

I think everyone should switch to Magnetic ;) I'm sticking with Guard. When I saw Magnetic I really thought it popped. Great comparison pic!

my god :shocked:. From 5-10 feet away they look identical in those pics but put them together and the real difference comes out. Its like having a pair of black slacks vs navy blue. have to put them right next to each other to tell them apart.

What is it with Guard?
I am considering many options for my stang with Ruby, Impact and Black being the top 3 contenders but I am seeing so many people talk about Guard that I wonder if I am missing something!
Is it an amazing colour in the flesh?
Should I consider it?
