TampaBear67 Please open all three, I said it does not look like the color enhanced Bullet picture and more like the natural lit movie screen shots. So we agree LOL.

I did Open All 3...

Guard Looks Nothing Like Dark Highland Green. It's Lighter and Much More Gray looking in person.

This isn't Color Enhanced or Affected by Movie Footage that is over 40 years Old filmed with Low Budget Cameras. This is what Dark Higland Green Looks Like in Real Life, and Guard Looks Nothing Like DHG.

Guard looks nearly Identical to the first like 15 pictures of this thread. Go to page one and do yourself a favor. If you like the first 15-20 then you will like guard. If not, you will not.

Guard looks just like this. I should know. I took this pic last Wednesday.
In the Shade it just looks Dark Gray, and in certain angles and lighting it looked a bit Muddy.

The 2014 Fusion color is called Darkside Metallic. I don't think the new 2015 in Guard has come out yet.

I'm done, reading comprehension is extremely low on this thread. I'm a complete liar, I actually traveled to 2015 to take pictures of a 2015 Fusion in Guard Metallic just to f with everyone and not because I thought it might be of interest to some people on here. Being that it is an actual production line paint job and not a protoype/pre-production car. I am also extremely sorry I brought up anything about the images from the movie Bullet....not what the car looks like in real life :frusty::headbonk:

This car is from the future...apparently

Last I'll add to any of this: It's still green, it might appear grey, black or any combination of colors with light shifts and/or SUNGLASSES, but the actual production line color is green as shown in my pictures from earlier today

Hmmm, that's interesting if you have a picture of a 2015 Fusion in Guard. I know it is the replacement color for the 2013/2014 Darkside Metallic. My local dealer is usual up to date on the new models and as of last weekend had no 2015 Fusions on the lot. I asked because my wife wanted to see the new 2015 in Guard to see if it looked better on the Fusion than the Mustang. There are a few options on the 2014/2015 that were not available on her 2013 so we are contemplating an upgrade.

I haven't seen it in person but I am thinking it looks a lot more like this in reality? Maybe even a shade lighter?
Yeah this is damn near spot on. I would just add there is like a iridescence of Olive drab in the color. It just seemed to have a Olive drab feel to it. It is hard to explain and the cameras just don't pic it up.

I apologize as my wife and I asked specifically for the dealer to see if a fusion in Guard was out yet and we were told not yet.

Still not a reason to be a dick though:tsk:

Yes, the 2015 Fusion's are out. My Nephew told me that the Guard colored ones had arrived and I should come check out the color for myself, because he loved it.

:frusty:
Just like Dark Highland Green looks anything like the color in the film to which I was referring.

This is why I always thought Guard Metallic was the right color. It captures the essence of the movie Mustang color on film the best. This color has emotional draw for me not because it's the actual color of the Bullitt Mustang but because it is the correct color for my memory of the movie. Dark, mysterious and understated. Perfection.

I will not explain this any further because I have no idea how else to get this point across.

I come by it honestly especially when everyone posts the same sun saturated blue hue pictures of the car and you have so many on here with excellent photoshop skills you cant keep up with reality and make believe. I tend to get a hair across my ass when I post pictures of a car to be told "Guard Looks Nothing Like That"

No need to apologize, being sh*t on when you try to be helpful is getting old.
