It will be interesting to see the saddle interior here, it's a very unusual colour.

Hey Guys, I am new to the community, and will hopefully purchase my first mustang this year( Looking at the Ecoboost, Premium with 50 yr, nav, and cruise). Trying to decide between the guard and DIB. I know this may not be the correct thread but I was looking for a pic of the guard mustang with either white or grey/silver stripes.
I've checked the mock up pages and haven't seen one. Only the DIB with dual white stripes.
This would be one of the biggest decision makers between the two colors for me.

Any help?

I would really recommend waiting until you've seen the Guard color in real life, pictures don't do it any justice.

Thats what I thought. I have the 2014 Fusion in the 'dark side' color, but its so dark it looks black. My friend saw he mustang and said its a vary pale green almost silver with an olive tone. is there any validation to this?

I thought it would close to the rendering on the ford website(thought that with the fusion but clearly thats not the case).

thanks man I feel a certain kind of way about the stripes, especially if they are model specific( Shleby, Boss,.) But there is a articular set that I just can't live without.

I left the specific version in this thread. If you're up for it, I would love to see it. Already contacted my guy about having them installed potentially no matter what color I go with.

Silver with a olive color hue to it is fairly accurate yes. Not dark in my eyes. both in the sun and in the shade it did not seem to dark.

Thats better than what my fusion looks like from the pic above. What picture of it would you say best depicts this color. My ford guy says they won't be able to get me in front of one until late August. By then I could have just ordered the DIB and be further in waiting list.

A cross between these and tampabears photos are a good example of the color. Mine seemed a TAD light where his seemed a TAD darker. The first 10 are fairly close to what I remember of the color. One of the salesman actually said magnetic was a darker color and I should go look at it on one of the explorers. It is that light IRL.

I cannot express how excited I was to find out a darker green shade was gonna be offered on this car and was 100% set on Guard with the brown interior. Ive looked at every single pic of this color on the internet. Put in an order for a '15 this past week, and when push came to shove I skipped the color. Its just too dull for my tastes. Maybe its too muted, maybe too grey, maybe not enough green, but It just doesn't work out. Im coming from a sterling grey metallic so no doubt that is pushing me away from the hue, but it really pains me to say it considering how long Ive been waiting to get this car in this color. I never wanted to admit it before, but unfortunately every new set of pics confirms my decision. Just doesn't stir things up for me personally.

IMO for my personal taste magnetic is worse. I was going to settle on black too but its not metallic and that has been another big letdown in the pics ive seen. DIB ftw. Make it more green and make it pop a little more, Ford.

I'm in the same boat here. I put the order in 5-21 for guard with dark saddle as well. I saw the color in Brandon ford in Florida and spent 4 hours trying to make myself like it; No luck. It is to dull and to grey with not enough green. Now I'm in an extreme time crunch to make a decision on CO or DIB as a new color. Spent the past 4 days trying to decide CO or DIB and it is tearing me apart. I like the vibrancy of DIB but I like the pooping of the orange and black.
