So I figured I would go see what Guard looked like in person. The Fusion in Guard is parked next to Sterling Grey CMax for reference. I do believe many Magnetic Mustang pictures on this forum are actually Guard. I posted a closeup of a Super Duty in Magnetic. There is no mistaking Magnetic for Guard. Magnetic pops big time, very dark grey, no color shift like Guard. Magnetic is darker/deeper than Sterling Grey. Sterling Gray is more silver (lighter) than Magnetic. Magnetic in person will never be mistaken for Guard.
I ordered a Guard Metallic Mustang on 5-24 and I am very happy I did. This color does not pop, it's extremely subtle. It looks grey, black, sometimes green, and a hint of blue hues. This car was sitting out in a field and was dirty. Guard does not show dirt (very happy about that). Guard is a color that you either love or hate. I love this color, it will be confused with black and grey quite a bit, good if people drop a dime on you in traffic ;) It is very close to the color portrayed in Bullet, a faded/flat color. Exactly what I wanted.
