These pictures are the first pictures in a while that have me impressed with Guard. The rear looks great in these pictures, still not too much of a fan of how Guard presents the front, still better in these pics though. But that's just me.

I've seen hundreds of pictures of this color at this point and I still can't tell what it actually looks like.

Oh this is so very easy to solve....simply go to your Ford dealer to see this new color in person on the new Fusion. I have already seen several on the roads.

Not so easy...my Ford dealer(s) don't have any 15 fusions in guard. I know they are out there, just not in my area yet.

That poor GHIG 2014 in the background of your pics - looks like it's already collecting dust back there...

Does the Guard look "dull" at all in person? I've heard that comment from someone who's seen it. I was going to order a Guard but can't decide now...

All that crowing from Ford about having professionals tune the exhaust sound and the EB sounds like an air purifier.
I've actually heard the EB standing right behind it at about 2k rpm. It sounds like a turbo 4 cylinder and nothing like what you hear this video.

This has been my plan too but my dealer does not seem to want any Fusions in guard. It is to me an intriguing color but it does not seem that Fusion buyers are going to respond positively to the color guard when other brighter shades are parked on the dealer's lot, ready to go. It will take a special buyer to want a guard Mustang and even a more special one to go for a guard Fusion.

I have not seen any car in guard. I want to see one and I believe I can make a decision based on what I see on a guard Fusion. But the dealer needs to get one of those.

As I can best determine guard might be described as being close to, but not quite as industrial, as a "metallic Bell Telephone System green" from a 1962 Econoline service van. That will not look too enticing on a Fusion parked amongst red, orange, white and silver ones so I don't think my dealer will be getting any of those in guard - nor will they voluntarily get a Mustang in guard.

But I am open to guard (if not, then ingot silver). I will not order a Mustang until I see guard on a Fusion or a Mustang.

I wonder if guard will have a high "fatigue factor" associated with it - when I first saw shots of the S550 it was my favorite color but I have already started to get bored of it - it seems too toned down for the type of car the S550 is. My preference has moved to RR.

Guard reminds me of the color of a pine tree. I'm going with Magnetic.
