That's not an R. It's a base model that has the Widebody on it and other modifications that Shebly has on it. They use it when they do shows, and run it on track to show their GT350 program. It's owned by one of the people at Shelby.Anyone know what the story is with this gt350R? Its at the shelby American shop in Las Vegas.
We just returned from Shelby last week. The first car is their head of sales car, his name is Matt. Super cool guy if you get a chance to meet him at one of the events they are at, do so!
Matt's car was the very first s550 widebody they did.
The car on the lift is one of our 1000R builds. We have a ton of footage we will be posting over the next few weeks from the trip!
Its by far my favorite car build so far. Im not typically a fan of widebody but Shelby killed it, the interior is sick, stance is perfect! Driving around Vegas with that car was a blast and got so much attention. We saw multiple people walk right past the Huracan that was with us like it was a Prius to check this car out.
sending a pmI think Trevor spoke with you, sorry we couldnt work it out timing wise. It would have been cool to shoot with you guys too!
Not to deviate too much from the subject but I've stolen thunder from several cars considerably more expensive than mine at cars and coffee before with just different wheels. It's pretty ego boosting if I am to be 100% real but it's a little nerve wracking too.We saw multiple people walk right past the Huracan that was with us like it was a Prius to check this car out.
Not yet :(Matt’s widebody also wore the bespoke Shelby tires. Apparently those tires were about 1-2 second quicker than stock Cups from what I heard. Anyone know if they’re for sale yet??
Shelby Xcomp II, something like that.
