IMSA just hammered the Z/28.R with a 65mm restriction and a minimum 3575lbs Race weight.

The GS.R the Z/28.R replaced had zero engine restriction and a 3300lbs Race weight. The LS7 has brought them nothing but future issues.

Isn't the Mustang already restricted? I think I'd rather see them ease those restrictions rather than add more to the Z/28 because I want the GT350 to have as few handicaps as possible when it comes out.

The Z/28 has been dominant due to being unrestricted and having rule allowances the rest of the field doesn't have.

We can all but guarantee the GT350 with a Voodoo engine would be restricted either with power or weight in most racing series. If the 444hp of the Boss 302 was too much for the competition, 500+hp from a Voodoo just wouldn't make sense.

I'd like to see all makes be allowed to run with no restrictions. If they sell it to the public? Then they should be allowed to race it.
