Look we've already debated all of this once. No need to do it again. Camaro won, move forward to 2016.
There might not be a GS in 2016...

In 2014, 32 cars made the field out of 37 registered...

This year 9-11 cars made the field out of 14...

BMW and Aston likely won't return. Nissan doesn't have a replacement nor is a 991 ready for GS.

Roush may be taking the GT350R to GT next year... Rum Bum, Roush, Fall-Line, Tuner... all gone...

The moment the organizing body allows a vehicle such leeway to win, teams and manufactures leave and don't return.

This is what the z28 Championed... the end of Factory Racing... and they did it with the most non-compliant, don't f@ckin' belong here, vehicle they could have ever put forth.

It's burning the castle down just to be king of the ashes... unfortunately, the 1LE was not the car they advertised. If it were, it would have been put up against the Boss. There should have been no contest...

Oh well, I wasn't really a big fan anyway. I always liked the war paint but tipping the scales in favor of a single model is not entertaining.

I think the 2016 season will be just fine. Many cars have been added to the GS class and should make for a great season.

It really pisses you off that I own a s550, doesn't it? FYI, I actually own 2 Mustangs.

Dont be mad. Just because I own the car doesn't mean I am compelled to be a mindless fanboy. I call a spade a spade, and its obvious which company is making the better performing vehicle.
The gig is up. You are PushrodPete over at Camaro5. Took me a second longer but I have cross referenced your posts and IP addresses to confirm your trolling identity.

Just a little bit of evidence. Here are pictures of the last activity today for both accounts.

Please, please prove me wrong and show evidence you do in fact have an S550 or better yet, get one of your Camaro5/6 forum buddies to confirm here. I am in fact right and your are nothing but a troll.

I don't any cars have been added to anything...

Word of advice, when an organization holds a press conference with stake holders, it's usually to address an issue.

Usually the issue (and meeting) is called by share holders when they have questions.

The main question on everyones mind is "What about the Future".

In my experience, if you need to discuss your future with mom and dad, it's because there are issues in your future.

Manufacturers, Sponsors, Teams and Drivers have been reduced by over 1/2 since 2014... that is the opposite of good...

The LS7 that is being used by the Z28 in competition has a cylinder head mod most likely. I doubt that the production heads are used.

Never really understood IMSA on how they can let 1 manufacture run away (aka GM). I like following SCCA and IMSA especially factory cars but to let 1 manufacture run way with the show is crazy.

Nope, only lecturing about street racing and how stupid it is. Yes I have street raced in the past but by no means am I proud of it, but to defend it is stupid. Intentionally endangering the lives of others for your own personal gain without regard for others is always stupid.

And for the record I wrote this as I was, not just driving, but street racing!

Listen, GOD....I've been street racing since the late 80s, I also drive a truck for a living, we do it as safe as we can...

Do you know what I see driving a truck 50+ hours a week?

85% (give or take a few%) of drivers on their phones driving, no signals, running stop signs, swerving, they might as well drink 15 beers and drive.

To call someone "stupid" because they street race....you clearly have no clue as to what real street racers do, has very little with what the media puts up....

Bring on those '16 Camaros! Ole painless awaits lol

BTW go fuck yourself Grabber, I didn't judge or call anyone names

Wow.
So much anger.
Let he who is without sin throw the first stone.

I try to just let others live their life as they choose.
So much so that I try to not even judge the foolishness of people that buy a scamaro.

NASCAR bought Grand Am and took total control in 2012.

I stopped watching...

Here is the REAL list of approved cars for 2016. Released 5 days ago... Please stop lying to people...

Aston Martin Vantage
BMW M3 E92 coupe
Chevrolet Camaro
Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.R
Ford Mustang FR500C (5.0) 2009-
Ford Mustang Boss 302R GT
Ford Shelby GT350R-C
Nissan 370Z (3.7)
Porsche 997 Carrera S (3.8) Direct Injection
Subaru WRX STi

PLUS, an ONBOARD jack system has been approved...

Hmmmmm... In a Factory Class??? Thanks z28!!! For your dumb-f@ckery...

These cars are unconditional

Alfa Romeo Giulia
Audi RS5
Audi TTRS
BMW M4
Chevrolet Camaro SS 2016-
Cadillac ATS-V Coupe
Dodge Challenger
Lexus RC-F
Lotus Evora 400
Porsche Cayman GT4 race car
It means there is a reason they won't be competing for points. The Challenger was on the unconditional listing this year... Meaning they needed to comply one way or another...

There are only about 6 teams in GS now. It's near extinction and the jack systems are kinda stupid.
