SVT didn't make the Boss, it was a Ford Racing Program. They are altogether now...

Not sure if these are correct but, posted by Brian.

2015 GT350 Option Pricing (MSRP):
Tech Package = $7500.
Track Package = $6500.
Navigation = $795.
Painted Black Roof = $695.
Triple Yellow = $495.
Over the top stripes = $475.
2015 GT350-R Option Pricing (MSRP):
R Package (over base GT350) = $3500.
SVT Touring Package = $3,000.
Navigation = $795.
Painted Black Roof = $695.
Over the top stripes = $475.
Base MSRP has not been announced yet, but should be very soon.
This looks like the R Package is just a weight reduction at $3500. The Track Pack has the MRC and the Tech Package is insane. It must add in all the deleted.

The GT350R might be $55,000-$60,000 after all. I doubt a sub-$50 was possible.

I take this that the R automatically consist of the Track and R Package so, $10,000 over the Base MSRP. Would be nice if it starts at $49,995 and the R is $59,995.

I would sh1t all my pants, one pair after another.

I see, you are just a troll ..?

There is no SVT. You know this, we know this and yet you want to bicker. All of your posts are based off this technique.
No, just pointing out common knowledge and facts. In that video:

Eric Zinkosky - Technical Specialist for SVT
Gene Martindale - SVT Development Engineer

...SVT guys. It's common knowledge of the Ford Performance unified program, but as I said earlier, these were (past-tense) the SVT guys...

It's a bit funny that thePill ignores it when others point out all of his contradictions and resorts to name calling and spinning the conversation off to a new topic. If you play both sides of the fence, you will always be right when you ignore the times you contradicted yourself

Quick question: If The Pill doesn't get you those answers^ to the questions you ask, it did not happen...?

If He doesn't know the exact set-up.. then those cars weren't there?

Seems he knows more than any of you. If you can't answer the same questions yourself, then sit on the side-line. Or please, feel free to educate the 6G community yourself.

thePill: "A GT350 with a cage IS a GT350R-C and S."

thePill is the one making the claim, that the GT 350 street car that we saw in still photos and videos running at Nurburgring has now magically transformed into a "race car" because it's caged. I was just asking for a little more technical detail and specifications...along with a source...to prove his claim that is was a "race car" all this time. His claim, his burden of proof.

I never knew the addition of a structural driver safety device ( a cage ) is all that is required to transform a street car into a "race car". I thought it involved a lot more. I guess the GT 500 we saw at Nurburgring a couple of years ago was a "race car" too...it had a cage.

I think I'll buy start buying old cars and putting cages in them. I can price them and sell them as "race cars"....I'll make a killing!

So much butthurt...

This new GT350 will make an attempt to homologate every component on the car. This is a little more advanced than the Boss Program was.

In essence, the only difference between the Pro GT350's and OEM GT350's will be the protection and safety equipment.

I know this sounds crazy but, Ford is offering most of its race parts used in Motorsport on the actual OEM car. This relieves a lot of financial burden off 3rd Party Teams.

Ford pulled some strings and got a 2015 GT350 in the book. They did so because they desperately want to run a development year.

I think those that have gotten information here over the last couple of months are pleased that my "rumors" are true.

Be mad, I don't really care.

I got word a potential buyer offered $500,000 for one of the 37 GT350R's.

Facebook chatter on Jalopnik.

Can we have a full picture of the car?
That is all I was given. The owner allowed the pic, appearently it was okay to share... I'm surprised they took pics of the tube work.

I am checking the PWC and CTSC cage designs to see if any of them match that secondary A-Pillar tube. I'm not sure CTSC uses one BUT, I'm also not sure what a Pro-'15 cage looks like.

Check-out Watson racing. They have the same set up in another 2015 Mustang (but in red). They work closely with Ford Performance.

Thanks man, that GT is ready to go but, it doesn't look like a Pro-cage. I'm wondering if the initial GT350R-C's are BIW prototypes.

You can see OEM wrap on the door jam...
