People sure must love ugly...seeing as how it sold more than Mustang.

There's no accounting for taste, I guess. They could sell 100,000 in amonth and I'd still consider it cartoonishly ugly. I guess when your claim to fame is being a Transformer, you should expect it though.

Twin turbo DI 396, 808hp, possible 8-speed manual, boron carbide 16" brakes, 305/335 tires, carbon fiber wheels, active rear wing, 3,400lb range, and the last Z28 was $75,000. Something is going to be very wrong if any of that is true. That sounds like a $100,000 Camaro to me.

Lol!! A 396 at 808hp. That's what Ford is suppose to do with a TT5.0.

It says the V8 Camaro weighs 3600lbs. It hasn't been tested for anything yet but it is a good 300lbs if true.

I just have a feeling this will all get mitigated once tooling is complete and equipment gets finalized.

According to some unknown sources at the GM's test track, the next gen camaro was hitting quartermile in 12.3 seconds with 3.91 gearing and manual transmission!

Where did you see that? I just saw some crazies listening to the acceleration audio and thinking that's the 1/4 and going by that. I wouldn't look much into that, but it'll probably be a mid 12 second car.
