So, your saying that the z28 is all tire?
Actually I do think its almost all tire. Have you noticed how skinny the new C7 Z51 tires are? That chassis don't require near as much tire as the C6 did.
So yea its all tire, multimatic spool shocks, ceramic brakes, and a bad ass 500hp motor. So what?
I'm starting to wonder what the controversy is. Pill says the chevy marketing dept lied and you can't race this car in any series. It sounds like they did hype it up a bit. Ok we get it. The hype will die down soon enough.
Is it overpriced? Yea I'd say so by 10-15k but hey if people want to pay it then so be it. But add up the cost of the brakes, shocks, and engine and you might be shocked.
Actually I think the z28 price will make the C7 Z06 look like a bargain. We probably won't even remember the z28 after the z06 comes out.
Bottom line IMHO: Chevy built a car to win magazine contests. Appears to be Mission Accomplished. I wouldn't mind at all if Ford uses that tactic as well.
