I do agree it looks better than the SS... on the 1LE's V8 version, the forged concave wheels alone and the F&R diffusers plus the bigger spoiler enhances the aggressive demeanor. As expected, they took goodies from the C7 parts bin to beef up its handling capabilities- MagRide + eDiff to start.

The black really looks sinister!

350's are expensive in comparison.

I want a car I can also afford to track and with a comparable GT350 being close to $15K more(assuming the 1LE package will be around $5000), that means the 1LE is going to be a choice many people make regardless of manufacturer.
Yeah. I acknowledge that and agree, but we are talking about two different buyers. Those looking for a performance bargain, and those looking for something a little more limited and unique.

There's always something faster out there. My 05 annihilated most cars and drew respect from guys driving much more expensive cars, but I didn't see any of them go buy a S197 and modify it like I did.

The one thing we can all take pleasure in, is that right now cars are more awesome than ever and they keep getting better and better. Good times

AMEN BROTHA!!!!!!!

It really seems like Ford has done the best job at making awesome cars at all price point. "Oh you want a fun, cheap, practical car? Fiesta ST" "Need a badass truck that can go anywhere? Raptor." Need a car that is about the rarest thing on earth but can out perform about anything out there? Ford GT." "Need a car that make Porsche owner jealous, can whoop butt on any circuit, and get you home in comfort? GT350." Ford has really hit their lineup out of the park!

Nice! The black car on the left looks really good.

Running the same size and G2 tires I have on my WORK wheels except 35 series for me on 20x10/11. Can't wait to see one run at the local race tracks.

How does the 1LE look much different then the SS ? Except for the rear spoiler. SS comes with mag ride.

It looks good. I really like it, and it's going to be fast. We really need a GT TP.

Hell yeah! I absolutely love the GT350 but I have no interest in exclusivity or having a special edition to brag about. I'm going to end up modding the car anyway but it would be nice to have a solid foundation to start from. 10"+ wheels at all 4 corners and a reasonably aggressive suspension would help keep modding costs down at least initially.

Totally agree, and that was my point. Of course Porsche guys love the GT350, it is freakin amazing and they can actually afford it. These cars are not competitors(the GT350 is in a class of its own), we are only comparing because this is the most performance oriented Gen 6 Camaro Chevy has released to date, and its performance will likely be scary close to the GT350TP, but that's a function of the 6th Gen platform and not an intent to compete.

This is still, as silly as it sounds, meant to compete with the GTPP.

I think you are right, we are living the best bang for buck era we will likely even see in cars with new standards etc on the horizon. What a joyous time to be a car guy!!!

It'll be pretty intense. Ford needs to release a track pack for the GT, as the PP doesn't hold up. This is apparently 3 seconds faster than the standard SS, which is supposed to be faster than the outgoing 1LE, which was still just a tad quicker than the PP. I guess right now the best comparator is the base 350 until we see some lap times, might step on the TP 350 heels depending on the track.

Aggresive front splitter, blade spoiler instead of pedestal, the larger brakes/rotors combined with the nice rims.

I don't think he meant much different, just nicer... due to the more aggressive bits 'n pieces added.

Exhaust option also, I do like the rear spoiler on the 1LE better. Might change over to one.

The new 1LE shows the sporty character better IMO....

But hands down, the GT350 rear fascia looks so much nicer/better....

They are actually brand new GY's that are designed specifically for the 1LE. New tread pattern/compound etc. The pics I saw show they look more like th PSS than the GY F1 G2.

Very interested to see some times. They do say it laps 3 seconds faster than the SS, which is VERY impressive.

The spoiler on the base and tech 350 looks like any mustang GT on the road. In black without stripes it's blends right in.
They should have made silver or liquid blue an option to show off the beautiful lines.
